At Kirshon & Company we understand the value of education and training. Since 2002, we have been running a student internship program to provide students with experiences and mentoring which they can later apply when they join the workforce. Students have the opportunity to use our state of the art technology and to experience working in a virtually paperless office environment. The firm has accepted students from educational institutions such as Marist College, Boston College, Siena College, SUNY New Paltz, and Mount Saint Mary College. Many of our former student interns are now Kirshon employees.

The program accepts one student for the spring, summer and fall semesters who meet the following criteria:

• Mnimum GPA 3.0
  
• At least one professional reference from academic advisor
  
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
  
• Student must be an accounting major entering their senior year
  
• Ability to devote at least 12 hours per week to the program
